Whistler Wedding Venues

1. Nita Lake Lodge

A picturesque wedding venue immersed in nature only 10 minutes south of Whistler Village. Nita Lake Lodge offers luxury weddings with in house catering and bar service.

Their grounds are immaculately groomed featuring beautiful gardens in the summer months and a cozy cabin feel during the winter. Nita Lake Lodge boasts beautiful accommodations with stunning views of the lake.

There are three ceremony location options. The Porte-cochère can accommodate up to 130 guests and features an architectural design of douglas-fir with decorative accents in western red cedar and has a prime view of Whistler Mountain Creekside.

The Lakeside Patio is suitable for up to 80 guests and offers expansive views of Nita Lake and Whistler’s Valley Trail.  The venue can be booked on an exclusive basis for wedding ceremonies and wedding cocktail receptions.

Finally, the library will accommodate up to 30 guests for the perfect intimate wedding. With a romantic ambient, it’s a naturally lit space with a fireplace and outdoor patio. It’s an ideal room for all seasons.

2. Audain Art Museum

Where modern architecture meets nature, the Audain Art Museum is one of Whistlers most beautiful and unique wedding venues.

Elevated within nature close to Whistler Village this wedding venue offers a stunning backdrop for your big day.

3. Fairmont Chateau Whistler

A dreamy location for a luxury mountain wedding, the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is the perfect wedding venue for an elegant day.

Weddings at the Chateau can accommodate intimate to lavish affairs. This wedding venue nestled in Whistler Village has three gorgeous wedding locations to choose from.

The Woodlands Terrace-With spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, the Woodlands Terrace can accommodate up to 400 guests and is open from April to October. The Woodlands Terrace also features a marquis tent set against evergreen trees and snow-capped mountain. This is one of Whistler’s most captivating wedding venues.

The Rooftop Chapel-Located on the Woodlands Terrace, the Rooftop Chapel at the Chateau is one of a kind. Romantic and intimate, this location at the Fairmont boasts gorgeous views of the mountains and a rustic design. Glass windows surround this peaked rooftop chapel and it's been named one of Whistlers Best Wedding Venues.

The MacDonald Ballroom-Deep mahogany arches grace the doors of Fairmont Chateau Whistler’s stylish Macdonald Ballroom. With ceilings peaking over 15 ft, the Macdonald Ballroom creates a feel of grandeur for a Whistler wedding. Chandeliers and crown moulding invite the most elegant of weddings.

4. Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Center (SLCC)

This unique building was originally built to showcase the First Nations communities that resided in the Whistler area. This Whistler Wedding Venue preserves their traditions and cultures. Among weddings it plays host to many cultural events and celebrations.

The building consists of three separate and unique levels. The Great Hall located on the main level can accommodate up to 300 guests. Spectacular weavings, canoes, carvings and expansive floor- to-ceiling windows decorate this exquisite Hall. The view from the Great Hall looks north over Lost Lake and Garibaldi Mountain Ranges.

The Mazzanine Patio is a beautiful option for an outdoor ceremony during summer and winter months and looks over Blackcomb Mountain. Finally, the Istken Hall is a dynamic round room with wrap-around windows showcasing stunning wooden beams coming down from the ceiling.
